Default Hunting the Hunters

In the past I owned only shotguns (and a Marlin 336 in .35 caliber " with iron sights).
Now that I live in SoCal instead of NJ, I"ve developed an interest in rifles.

I thought a .243 Winchester would be a good cartridge, as it"s referred to as a "triple threat"; varmint, deer and bench shooter.
I never thought I would enjoy shooting paper, but scoping in my .243 was great fun.
I"ve recently purchased a .204 since I can only shoot paper and varmint hunt right now.

In the past eight weeks I have taken four coyotes; three with my .243 using 75 gr. V-max"s, and then just this past Saturday one with my new .204 using 40 gr. V-max"s.

Hunting the Hunters; Great fun !!!!

PS: Notice the neck shot in this photo (Sorry - cell phone photo).

Dang it, I saw "hunting the hunters" and Southern California and thought you were hunting the gun hunting liberals.Wishful thinkingI guess.

Nice shooting BTW. Now you are officially hooked.
