Default Marlin XL7?

I was wondering if anybody has shot a Marlin XL7 and if so, what did you think about it? It's one of the least expensive rifles you can buy and is still made in America. Kind of makes me proud of my country (move over Michelle O.).

Looks good on paper. Should sell well this fall, and will probably take alot of game.

It should be a good shooting rifle..I like the way they cleaned up the savage action, Another one to consider is the ER Shaw rifle they are selling which is based on the savage action but with some additional mods.

Thanks for the link. From what was posted, it seems like a pretty good rifle.
