Default Bushmaster Varminter special AR-15

I just recently put this gun on lay away at my local Gander Mountain. I have read good reviews on it but was wondering if anyone on here owns one or has ever shot one and what they thought of it. Thanks.

One of my buddies has one and he has made some amazing shots with it. For a semi auto it seems to shoot about as well as most bolt actions. He is deadly with it on squirrels out to a few hundred yards, and I watched him drop a coyote at 650 with it. I hate varmint hunting with him though as he is able to put 4 or 5 rounds down field for every one of mine. Some farmers, ranchers, and other varmint hunters roll theirs eyes when they see him with this "black rifle" though, too much bad publicity in the news, so be prepared to catch some flack from those who know nothing of guns.

I have one. Very accurate gun. I did a bunch of research on it when I bought the gun to determine if it was worth it, and it is highly accurate. The gun is for sale if interested. I broke the gun barrel in according to Bushmasters recomended actions.

I was on the market for one of the R15s about a year ago and found they were highly reviewed. Remington does a stellar job when it comes to firearms. I have recently changed my mind and I am going for a bolt action only because of price. If I had the funds, I would definitely get a R15.
