I bought a Stoeger 2000 in synthetic. I have only shot 1 ounce loads and have had no problems. It seems to be well made. I put a limb saver recoil pad on it and it has helped. So far, good gun for $379.

I own a Condor Supreme and my buddy has a combo(both are in twevle gauge).
We both have since upgrage to more expensive shotguns(we brought them when we first started shooting skeet), but both Stoeger's are well worth the money.

I spoke with someone today and he implied the guns might be made in Beretta's factory in Brazil.
Do you guys know anything about that?
I know Browning sells russian made shotguns and other manufacturer (can't recall now) turkish shotguns under their name.

I've had a M2000 for about a year now and it has done a great job. No complaints here. Now that I've said that watch it fall apart!

I was saving up money to buy a Stoeger 2000,but then last week for my birthday, my wife gave me a Benelli M2. Now I don't need to look at the Stoeger anymore.

Geez, can't beat a deal like that!!!!! I was doing the same thing as you but, but found a very lightly used M2 at my uncles gunshop for $800, so I coughed up the extra money and bought it. I have no regrets!!!!!!
