I have handled 4 of these things at 2 different dealerships.Too heavy, the bolt release looks cheesy, the bolt handle looks flimsy.. In short I wouldn't give it the time of day. THompson Center marketing hype. .At close to a grand I will buy a MOdel 70 or a new Xbolt before I would consider one of these.

Haven't seen one yet but I like the bedding design. And they do guarantee 1 MOA accuracy. But I guess that really depends on the shooter. I know guys that couldn't shoot a 1" group at 25 yds with a custom built varmint rig.

Very accurate comment.

I handled one a gun show. Ialso did not like the bolt. But then I watched a hunting show the other day that was sponsored by TC. They had a five minute segment about the new rifle. I realize it was marketing, but the things they said about the rifle were impressive. I seen some on Bud's Guns that were about$7XX. Tom.

A friend has one in 243 win and I'm not impressed with it myself .
