Default LeveRevolution Bullets Pack a Punch! (Warning Graphic Pic)

Hi All,

Iput the smackdown ona 110 pound doe this morning with my Marlin .30-.30 and the new Hornady LeveRevolution bullets. I shot her broadside at about 75 yards. After being hit she went about 40 yards and expired. When I gothome and took the pants off her I was VERY impressed with the entrance hole this bullet left behind. The hole is the size of a silver dollar.

I thought I would share this with anyone who is concidering these bullets. These bulletsare awesome!!!!

Just rib meat. Nothing was wasted at all.

hmmmm, so you are saying there is an extremely large entrance hole (larger than the diamiter of the bullet) and a small exit hole?

Must have hit a rib on entrance and not on the exit...???

Are you sure that is not the exit hole? If not, the only thing that I can think happened is that it hit a rib immediatly upon impact and not on exit. At least it was only rib meat, I dont trim hardly anything off the ribs anymore, its just more work than it is worth. Good job on getting your deer.

I love the LeveRevolutions. Got an antelope and a Muley buck with them using a Winchester 94 30-30 this year. They performed perfectly.
