RE: Any reports on Rem 798????
Action as you are well aware is the old Daly /Mark X action and it is sweet. I have handled 4-5 of these things and they are not bad but the woodwork on them leaves a little to be desired. Of course that Remington stamp cost 100 more dollars then the one Charles Daly put on. I would like to find one in 375 in SS and I think I would buy it and have the stock reworked a bit and maybe put a wing safety on it.
