Default Pistol Rest

I have been looking at the steady stix and bipods and such. I am hunting with a Ruger Super Redhawk in .480 Ruger and was wondering if anyone would have a recommendation of a good stable rest For the gun. It needs to be able to fold up, or collapse down, and I don't think I would use it standing up , so the shorter heights might be a more practicle option....

Any help is much appreciated.

Bipods aren't versatile enough (height wise) and add too much weight. Have you thought about crossed sticks? They make a monopod that's fully adjustable and works ok. Back when I was younger we just used tobacco sticks.

I've used "Pole Cats" and have no complaints.
