Dicckson pistol ?

I have traded around and gotten a snub nose 38. It says on the grip Dickson Commander sort of like a Charter arms pistol. On the barell it says Dickson Model Comander 38 Special and on the other side of the barell it says Germany. I have never saw one of these pistols before. Does anyone know anything about the mysterious pistol?
