I don't want to sound like the newb that I truly am, but could you give a little detail about what's in the photos?
|
This is the old stock, and the one I made.
These two photos are of the two peace stock,
That I made from a chunk of walnut.
It is a Fox double barrel Model B, in 12 gage.

From the top.
The first one is a bolt handle that I welded on, and shaped to fit under a scope, without a barrel.
I plan on barreling in 308 or 7mm-08.
The second one is a Savage model 110, with an Adams & Bennett barrel,
I Chambered in 308.
The third one is a Mauser 98, with an Adams & Bennett barrel,
I chambered in 7mm-08.
And had to bend and shape the bolt, to fit under a scope.
I also made the old Mauser 98 trigger into an ajustable trigger.
And put a low scope saftey on the shroud.
The forth one is a commercial Mauser 98, with an Adams & Bennett barrel,
Chambered in 243.
This is the bolt that I jeweled.
The next semester is blueing, and I will be blueing them.
I must blue four long guns, a shot gun, and a revolver.
One of the long guns has to have flat sides.
Then the next semester will be stock making, and advanced repair.
Then I will be making a one peace stock from a peace of walnut,
And two semi-inleted stocks, and ten repairs.
When I am finished I will have three maybe five custom rifles.
I have a Reming model 700 receiver, that I plan to blueprint, that is if I can find the extra time, and I plan to chamber in 7mm-08.
Then the next sesmester will be 1911, and revolver, custom work.
I think I have the semesters right.
