You should be able to shoot 100 yards---if you can do it. I wouldn't try anything past 50 until you got really good.

I have been shoting at 50 yards a lot recently--with open sights. I think that can be easily done for anyone if I can shoot well from there. With a scope, even farther should be easy with a rest.

In the right hands, for the gun and cartridge, 100 yards is certainly do-able! I would recommend that one would practice a lot, and work the range up! Handgun calibers and revolvers don't have much forgivness! The gun and load can easily do 3X more than most shooters can!

You might want to start out with a light plinking load or 44 specials to get feel for the gun.

What shooting stick do you recommend for shooting a revolver at 150yrds?

Any pointers for shooting that Leupold FX-II 2x20mm at 150yrds? Are you holding over with that Multi-X reticle, or adjusting the elevation dial in the field for that range?

Hell, my old eyes can't even see at 150 yards with a 2X pistol scope!

I can barely shoot a fixed 2x power at 50, let alone 150!
