Don't have the 10fp in 308 but do have one in 223,and it shoots very good.Just posted a pic under reloading of a group I shot with it this morning.
The 308 should shoot good to.The scope power would depend on what you want to do with the rifle.On my 308 I have a springfield 4x14x56 and it does good on dot targets out to 300 yds,thats as far as the range goes but want to try it out to 500 when I get the chance.
If I didn't have the springfield I would have a nikon 6.5x20x44 on it.
If you want it to just deer hunt a good 3x9x40 would work well.
Lets us know how the 308 shoots.

well i was debating to buy .223 but decided to go with .308
i want to use this gun on elk or moose
this is the biggest caliberrifle i have
i will be buying a nikon buckmaster scope for it 6-18 x 40
i will post some pic's as soon i have everything set up
it's hard to find a gun range in mn longer than 300 yard
so i'm going to nd in may
i'l try it out to 1000
wi'll see what happens
