Looking at buying this gun in a 30-06 caliber, it's listed new at 665.00 Canadian,

Can anyone tell the the goods and bads on this one.

I think you will be well satisfied with it as I have had several win model 70s,and they all performed well.

i got a model 70 30-06 sporter xtr and it shoots really good, i am happy with it, my pops has a browning 30-06 and his shoots good, but mine seems better. i think you will be happy with the model 70.
