Default Haugenna or Trailer Question??

Awhile back there was a poser, errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ah I mean a poster that claimed to have a custom 8 lb 378 WBY and was complaining about how the recoil was so bad he had to get medical attention. Well I think he has solved the problem by adding weight to the rifle, he added a nice scope, probably a simmons 8pt. I really dont know if his gunsmith friend ever let him install a recoil pad on the beast. I dunno much but when you add weight to a particular firearm you are going to reduce "felt" recoil to some extent.
Do y'all think this will be enough to ease the recoil some or maybe a muzzle brake would do him better in the long run. I have been flip floping on this lately.

Always trying to help others with their problems....

Thanks in advance for your help.

Here is a pic of his newly built 378........................

Geez, I am already missing reading the funny papers in here.

Nothing like the beauty of a gracefully handcrafted work of art by a skilled craftsman of his trade........

absolutely not trailer, you speaketh the way it is, your input is always welcome here!
My self I would have went with the 3 chrome plated adjustable clamp ring thingies, the 378 has some stout recoil.

On a side note, I just picked up a bag of 50 Norma 378 wby's in the bargin cave for $34.

I am glad that we could help!
