Default H&R Ultra Varmint

Any one have any experience with one of these in 223 or 243? Wish it came in 22-250, but it doesn't.

Thanks for any info you can give.

I had one in .243, it shot good and was a very handy little rifle.

What are the triggers like on the HR's? Are they adjustable?

Well, I have heard most of the triggers are excellent right out of the box. I did find this site, but have not really read about the trigger adjustment that is oulined there.

i have .243 h&r and i also have a NEF in 204, both shoofairly well, the Nef had a better trigger but i've fixed that, the both have the heavy barrel and mine are both shooitng sub moa with reasobly priced optics, shooting hand-loads, good luck lots of fun to shoot

hard to beat for the money and enjoyment, i use mine strictly as "beat-around" guns
