Default Bedding?

I'm sure this has been posted before so I appologize. I know very litttle about glass bedding, exept that it can aid in accuracy. I shoot a rem700 and I want it to reach it's full potenal. I already hand load, and I have modified the trigger, bedding seemed to be the next step. Is there a do-it-your self kit, or should I leave it to a professional?

Default RE: Bedding?

There are kits available, and although a bit messy,it can certainly be done by most people.I have bedded a few rifles with good results.I would recommend thekit below. And by the way,the bedding is for the action,as it is usually best to free float the barrel.

Below are some instructions as to what is involved.

You could do it yourself, but I strongly suggest having a pro do it. There are a thousand little tricks to bedding that you only learn properlyfrom experience.
