Default A real review please.

I realize that this is no longer a "review forum" as it was intended but I have read some things lately about the Kimber 84 M light weight rifle. Does anyone have one? Can you give a brief "review" of it please?

Default RE: A real review please.

I started with an 8400 in .270 WSM, which I was more than pleased with. I purchased an 84M this past year in 7mm-08 for my wife, I am equally impressed with it. My quick review:
- Fit and finish are excellent; I rate it better than any of the current big store box guns in the same general price range. (Browning, Remington, Sako/Tikka, Sig and the like)
- Nice wood (both of mine are the standard classic)
- Easy to handle, light weight
- Action is smooth and sturdy
- Accuracy is exceptional for a light weight sporter; from a bench I get an honest 5/8 MOA @ 100 yds. from both rifles.
- Un-matched factory trigger that is adjustable (better than most after they have been tuned!)
- Neither rifle has proven finicky; they have fired several factory loads with no gain or loss in accuracy.

I love carrying the Kimber, it is light, highly maneuverable, points easily, and about as accurate as you are going to get in a feather weight rifle. For what it is worth I attached an e-mail response from Hill Country Rifles about my Kimber.

thanks, USMC, your review says it all. My son is showing an interest in Sheep hunting and I'd like to give him the kind of mountain rifle I always dreamed of while climbing around the Rockies when I was younger.
