Default Range time

Had some pretty good groups wed at the range before it got too hot.
The 7/08 is an older model rem classic,it shoots about anything you put in it.Shot a one inch group at 300.The 120 hornady shot as good as the 120 gr HP.Been useing IMR 4350 but think I will switch to varget get faster speed and accuracy with it.
The 25/06 is a tikka that I bought a few months ago have had a hard time getting it to shoot but after rebedding and floating the barrel all the way back it does pretty good now shot 2 groups wed useing the 85 BT about the same size. Tried the r-25 and it shot good at 100 and 300.
The 270 is new only had it a few weeks, but it is going to be a shooter, working up a load for it with the 135 gr sierra same bullet I use in the 270 wsm.
These are all factory rifles ,trigger adjustment on all of them and the tikka bedded.

some decent shooting there. heres a pic of my latest 308 loads 100 yard grouping its 165 g. sierra BTHP gameking over 45 grains varget, fed primers and remington brass. for now im calling it good, I may tinker some more with it might try fed gold medal primers and I might try using a lee crimp. the rifle is an older (manufactured in 1988) remington mountain rifle.

Looks like a good solid hunting load.I have had 2 of the rem mtn rifles and both shot very well, one in 260 rem and one in 30/06,sold the 260 to buy it back in the 260 bdl with 24 in barrel and traded my 30/06 to a friend to make a custom rifle.I haven't got a 308 but have shot a lot of them, just posted under "GUNS new varmit rifle " about shooting a friends 308 tikka varmit, does that thing shoot.
Loaded up some 308 for one of my brothers 308 mossberg year before last and it shot very good too.

Impressive groups, nice shooting. Thank you Herman for demonstrating that factory rifles are capable of nice groups without overspending $$$$!
