Default New 2006 Remingtons.

hey i just thought everyone should check out remingotns new gune they came out with this year. they have a model 798 and 799 bolt action that uses the mauser 98 bolt like a ruger does. the 798 is large calibers and 799 is the smaller calibers. i thought these were interesting because i like the mauser bolt. and new bottom ejecting auto shotgun called the ct105 and an auto rifle called the model 750 which has now replaced the remington 7400. just tought id share this with everybody. just go to www.remington.com and click on firearms or products.

The Mausers are imported from Zastava, and are made in Serbia. They are the same guns Charles Daly was selling last year, except now you will pay 30% more.

I was thinking the same thing about the price, but the list prices are the same and with the Remington you get laminated stock and blued barrel instead of the Charles Daly mat black finish and synthetic stock. I am definitely considering a 22-250.

I suspected that and was gonna look into it, but no need to now.

But I am impressed with there new selections of m700's and am exstatic they are producing m700's in 308 again.... I actually havent considered buying a remington for 9 years because they werent making anything in 308 except the police rifles. to bad for them..... they missed out on 4 sales that savage got instead.

Im thinkin in the next year ill be buying a 750 woodsmaster in 308, it reminds me a ton of my old 742 I had. and im also thinking about a M700 VSF in 308. if ya cant tell im a 308 finatic

Sounds more like a commercial for Remington to me.......

Just look at the way they install a recoil pad to their CDL......nice gun in the M-7 but man.....these guys have no gonads in the QA department at all.

They have been announcing a double rifle from Russia for a gazilliuon years.....where is it?.....and their 798 and 799 rifles are also non existant.....for the extra cash they ought to be flooding the streets.....

Frankly folks....Remington is a disturbing pile of excrement for a gun company.

Where's my Savage.....I need to go hunting.

I just saw a new ad for Remmington and it had the 7400 in sinthetic and blue so I don't think they are doing away with them. I could be wrong but I don't see why they would have them in the ad. Mike
