Default Mossberg model 100 ATR rifle?

I had read some articles on this new rifle and it seems it is very accurate and a good buy for the money. I hadnt seen one till the other day at Walmart. First thing I noticed is how it looks similiar to a savage. It didnt lok too bad for $244.99. It had a counterebored barrel, mossberg embossed bolt, and a synthetic stock with a blind magazine(no floorplate). I noticed the safety and bolt release were of stamped steel. I couldnt try the trigger pull due to safety lock in the trigger guard. The rifle has a barrel nut similiar to the savages but it is longer and smooth, not notched. Rifle is set up for scope only, no open sights. I think this is actually the older raptor rifle charter arms put out awhile back. There is a nickle plated, one or it might be stainless, with wood available on their web site. If it does what people who have tested it says it will, I might buy one for $244.99 just for a beater rifle(truck gun). If anyone has one please let me know how your rifle fares with the articles I have read on the internet.

I have read that it is the "Mossbergs" of the rifles. Good enough. Of courseI wouldn't mind owning one.

I bought one for me and my son last year. They are very accurate out of the box and we did not haveany problems, they shot very well and I think are pretty light. As with any rifle shot placement is the key
