Man. You got the one bum Savage in the bunch. I just picked up my new one with the Accu Trigger in 270 WSM I love the trigger and have had 20 or so Savage rifles which all shot very well. I can't see anything out there that beats that Accu Trigger.

I know the bow companies share patents...would be nice if the gun companies would do this as well. That is one innovation that puts em all down.

Kinda wierd, I would say the shooter might be an issue but I do see consistency from these targets. The shooter seems to be doing his job. Might just take this one to a gunsmith or to gander mountain to trade in on something else. EJ

I can't stand Savage myself. I have friends who have had bad experiences with their Savages. They just don't seem to have the same level of quality IMO. I will admit that their triggers are pretty darn nice, though.
