Anybody got to fondle the new Springfield XD 45?

14 rounds of 45ACP supposedly in a package only slightly larger than their 9mm & 40 cal. I've been eyeing these for a long time and this one may just be the one.

Yep, fondled one yesterday.

Fit real well in my hand and as typical with the XD points very naturally.

I think this one is going to go over real big with the shooting public and I would anticipate them to be somewhat scarce for a little while cause a lot of folks are going to want one.

I currently have an XD 40 Tactical and love the gun. Old man is in the market to upgrade his curren P 89, I know what he will be buying now that the 45ACP is out

To answer your question, no I have not handled one. But the articles I've read on them in Guns and Ammo, Handgunner, etc are all leading me to believe its gonna be a hot hot selling item.

i am glad they decided on making a .45. I Have the XD9 and absolutely love it.

I got my XD 45 two weeks before christmas, and it shoots great. I really can't tell the difference between it, and my XD tacticals in 9mm, 40S&W, and 357 sig. The grip is just a hair bigger, but fits good in my hands.
