Default Tasco EXP 3-9 any good?

I hate to admit it, but I just bought Trashco (Tasco) scope. The Tasco EXP 3-9, is honestly a beautiful scope. It's bright, powerful, has a rubber coating on it and it's view is oval shaped. I must say it looks very well built. Has anyone had any experience with this scope?? You can't beat the price and it looks great. Any info is appreciated!!

Well, we aint allowed to say anything negative here so I will keep from it. I have a tasco, bought it for my little NEF 243 just to build a cheap rig. Didnt plan on it being a hunter, but I shot a big doe with it and it worked great! The misses of this 30 dollar scope is it has a lousy relief and it isnt that bright. But what do you expect for 30 bucks? It killed a deer as effectively as my pal with his remington cdl 280 with a 400 dollar leupold scope on it. I like 280's and leupold's but sometimes cash dont allow. Lets hear it for the econo hunter thats gets the job done!

I have looked through one and liked it. The EXP binculars are awful good for the money. Actually if you can find one of the EXP scopes or binos that were made in ***an, this are great glasses.
If I didn't have 300 bucks for a Leupold VX2 or 200 bucks for a Sightron SII, I would opt for the EXP.
But I do have 300 bucks

yes the exp is a great scope. i have one on 3 of my hunting rifles and on my competition 22 . i have from personal experience and alot of other guys sayin the same thing. we were on a coyote shoot out in s.d. i had my 223 savage with a exp and my 243 remington with a leupold on and honestly the exp cut the dawn and dusk light better then the leupold. the exp i gotfor 55$( i got a hafe case of them when a company was goin out of business) and the leupold from cabelas was well over200so in my opinion iwould buy any exp ihave a chance at.
