Is a .300 win mag in m70 black shadow good?

Hi there everyone!! I was wondering if anyone could help me? A co-worker who quit hunting a while ago said he bought a new gun years ago and shot only three bullets through it. He said it's scoped, but couldn't tell me what was on it, he said the scope cost 200$. It is the .300 win mag m70 black shadow with blued barrell. He wants to sell it for 325$ and I just did get my tax return back. Does it sound worth it? I always wanted one and the kids could take over the 30-06 and the 7mm.

I suggest you quit waiting around and buy it.

It's Winchesters basic bolt action with a black synthetic stock and blued steel and no floor plate but is still a model 70 just like all of them. If it has a decent scope on it it would be well worth the money.

i have one, its worth it. I paid $380 for mine new with a junk scope.

Thanks for the advice guys!! I was worried about buying a synthetic stock. I never owned one. But, I saw him today and he had the gun with a leupold vari-x on it! Needless to say, I have a new gun!! Thanks Big Bulls and Semi!!!
