i like to walk on my property and carry a pistol and plink at things.i have s/w .22cal but it is little heavy and long barrel and needs a holster for on your belt.it is just to big and heavy ,long for walking like i do. is there a .22 cal pistol that is small that could fit in holster ,say on your chest inside your coat or in your pocket of hunting coat.i like semi-auto pistols also.price is not problem and i want a .22cal that is accurate too. i have a .25 cal small pistil now but it cant hit a 20 inch round target at 15 yards, its awful but nice and light small to carry, i like that. thats what i want in a .22cal semi-pistol.any suggestions would be appreciated.
Ruger Target Master 22
I have one in SS it is the best and most accurate gun i own
Cabella's has a 22 long riffle cart. that packs a punch.
this is what i use to get rid of the things i don't want around
I am not the biggest Browning fan in the world but I highly reccomend the buckmark. It is a very reliable and accurate pistol. I have the Standard that I got for Christmas when I was 16 (now 31). It has had thousands upon thousands of rounds through it and has never jammed up on me, ever.
For your wants I would look at three versions of it. The micro at 2 pounds, the camper at 2 pounds 2 ounces, or the challenge at 1 pound 9 ounces.

Walther P22. I own the 5-inch model, and even taken it to league and comeptition. It serves me right around the ranch and nursery, taking out squirrels, gophers, and rattlers. Cleaning is great on it, and the gun is awesome in the accuracy field. The gun comes in a couple of colors, grips, and you can even go for the shorter length of barrel.

thanks for all replys, keep them coming. i am LEANINGtowards a BROWNING BUCKMARK FLD PLUS WITH ROSEWOOD GRIP.i tried to find one today, everyone seems to be sold out of them.the rugers just dont look as nice as this browning.i heard that p22 is nice, rugers and browning.i did not like sight on rugers.that sight on browning is nice. anyone have idea where you can buy a browning at good price?
Don't forget the revolvers. Some of them are perfect for what you want. S&W 317, the taurus 94, even possibly a Ruger bearcat. As for pistols I would pick the browning or ruger which fits you best though the sig trailside and mosquitodo seem good too. good luck whatever you get.
For 20" at 15 yards, you sure don't need a target gun. I'll add a second vote for a S&W 317. Extremely lightweight, of course reliable, and it will fit in your front pants pocket.
