Default A Little help with BLR rifles

I was over to Scheels last week and I looked at a BLR in 7mm-08. It was a satin stainless or nickle finish. I went to the Browning site and can not find that gun listed at all. Is it New or old? The gun itself is new but is it a new model or discontinued model? They are asking 700.00 for it and I almost put it on their ten month lay away but then decided to come home and check it out a little first. I had a BLR in 7mm-08 many years ago and had problems with it handling reloads. What does anyone know about these rifles?

James I saw the same gun at BassPro shops in Harrisburg Pa right before Christmas this year. I cant remember the price though. The dude at the counter told me that the SS finish wasthe olderdiscountinued model. They only had 1 available and it was on the discount rack. Ive seen some of these on gunsamerica.com and they seemed to be a few years old. I dont know the exact year they stopped making them though.

I didnt care much for the finish myself. I thought the recievers grey didnt match the color of the barrel and it looked off. THe laminate stock was nice and I love those BLRs but just wasnt real high on this one. My wife on the other hand thought it looked amazing and was surprised we werent taking it home. If you get it could you post how you like it. I think a BLR is next in line on my got to have list.
