what is the difference in a ruger model 77RS AND A MODEL 77 RL ?

The rs is the standard which has 22 inch barrel and 24 on magnum chamberings and the rl is the ultralight which has only 20 inch barrel and is not avaliable in magnum chamberings

Actually the r is the standard and the rs is a standard rifle with sights. Did anyone notice ruger doesn't catalog the rs anymore.

The Ruger m-77 rs is the model with scope rings and open sights included the m-77 r has only scope rings i hope this helps chad

thanks for the information. i was looking at a old model 77rs barrelled action .i probably do not want on with open sights.
