I finally got my deer rifle

I really apprecaited all of the advice from you guys, It was a tough decision but im glad i went with the one that i made, I was lingering between the Savage and the Ruger. But after looking at both models and comparing prices i ended up going with the Ruger. The really wasnt a big price difference between them but i just fell in love when i looked at that Ruger. I do see a Savage in my future some where. Thanks guys,

Here is a picture of my new deer rifle. Its the Ruger M77- Mark II Standard, I got it chambered in the .270 WSM, so i should have plenty of gun for any deer that ever crosses my path,

Very sharp rifle. I think youll be happy with its performance good luck with it.
I question I do have is how is the trigger on it.

Yes, good buy. I am a Winchester man myself, but the next gun i buy will be a M77 in 270win. I love the look and feel of those guns.

I have one in 300 win mag shoots great never a problem but the factory triggers are crude i put a timey trigger on it. mine will shoot a 3 shot group just under an inch at 100 yards

ive been thinkin on buying a new trigger for mine that adjusts from 1 1/2 lbs -3 1/2 lbs. any suggestions. This one was 60 buck . Is that to much for a trigger for my rifle?

I have a All weather stainless in 300 WM and I love my rifle, it is my definite go to gun. i put a Timney trigger on it as well..

I have the all weather 300 WSM and a blued .223 M77. Both will shoot well under 1 MOA. The WSM will shoot 110gr sp at 3600 fps into a .6" group at 100 yards, it will do the same with my 165gr and 180gr Barnes XLCs. The .223 will shoot .5" at 100 yards with factory ammo and handloads. I put a Timney on my .223 and did a trigger job on the 300. The M77 is a great gun, you will not be disapointed.

I received my Ruger UltraLight 223 yesterday. It's the one with the ebony black tipped stock and tapered thin barrel. Shot it about 50 rounds today and it's awesome. I can't wait to get it to the range and get some true accuracy readings. My next rifle will either be a 270 or 308 in the same model.
