Default .17 HMR Sighting In

Bought a BSA Sweet 17 6x18x40 for my Savage hmr.

The gun range I go to will not allow rim fire rifles on the 100 yd range and I am limited to 50 yds. Since I am limited to 50 yds how high do I need to aim on to be dead on at 100 yds? I just want to get it as close as possible and wait til I get out to my property where I can dial in 100-300 yds more accurately.

This is priarmily a target rifle help me out here guys & gals. Thanks in advance.

bigiron is right on. If you sight your rifle about 0.5" high at 50...you should be right on around 100 yards.

Check out: http://www.varmintal.com/17hmr.htm for ballistic charts, then apply them to your situation.
