Default Encore trigger adjustment.

Does anyone know how to adjust the trigger on the encore?

Other than the screw behind the trigger, in the trigger guard itself, to adjust the overtravel there are no other adjustments that can be made.

A gunsmith can polish the internal parts up for you and give you a clean and crisp trigger pull/ break.

Thanks. A local gunsmith gave me a price of $70.00 is this a reasonable price?

Thanks again.

$70.00............ Good God!!!!!!!!!

I thought we were a tad bit high at $50.

Of course I do not know where you live. If in a major city where the cost of living is much higher this may be very reasonable.

Default RE: Encore trigger adjustment.

PaJack's offered website is good advice. I have a .223 Encore and did a trigger job myself using the info and parts found at www.bellmtcs.com . Then I had to replace the hinge pin because the factory job left wobble in the barrel/frame. I do like my Encore, however.
