Default bought the savage 110

Bought the Savage 110 in 06'. Shoots quarter inch groups at 100 yards. Great gun. Real solid...i love it....now if only i can get them crosshairs on a deer.

1/4"groups? lol...post a target! Any time someone shoot a group smaller than the caliber size I need to see it lol

He might be referring to the measurement from center to center.

Congrats! I have the exact gun with a bushnell banner 3x9x40 scope. I will be getting a better scope soon. The good thing about this gun is that you are never worried about scratching it or mishandling it 'cause they are so darned ugly already. But boy do they ever shoot! I have to admit that just under an inch is what mine shoots but maybe I haven't found the right ammo for it yet. Still and inch is great for a hunting rifle

To get real technical, you measure outside to outside and subtract one caliber (in the case of the 30-06, you woulod subtract .308 inches) but it's basically the same thing.

hey guys come on, the guy is obviously pumped up and thrilled he got a new gun!! Dont nit pick on him cause he might have over exagerrated the accuracy [:@]I own 3 Savages myself and yes they sure are accurate........best group ever .375 overall average .80.

CONGRATS ON THE NEW TOY!!!!!! KEEP US POSTED ON THAT MONSTER YA KILL!!!
