Default remington misfire?

Hi guys, I just got a20G Remington break action and fired it for the first time the other day and itmisfired on me about every fifth time or so.Is this just awoman's touch or am I not being agressive enough loading it?

Might trying being more aggresive and if that doesnt work may take it to a gunshop. they can test things like how hard it hits. on the primers to the misfires is there a mark on them where it hit just not hard enough and also are they factory loads or reloads.

Might be a combination of factors. a short firing pin,or firing pin broken but held in place! I would check this out first! vangunsmith

You could also try another box of shells just to be sure it isn't badammo . It does happen .

I meant to bring that up as well good point. There are a LOT of different man.in the 22lr shell making business now days.And a lot of them have different dimensions,especially rim dimensions and they all are different. Thats why some people often have rim gauges to tell if the shell will even fit in there gun. vangunsmith
