Default Stevens Mod 200

I bought one in 300 Win Mag and this gun is a shooter! The action is smooth and tight and the trigger pull is great. This is a true great value and it won't break the bank. 264$ with tax!!!

I saw the Stevens at a local gun shop in Ashland KY. The price looked great and was wondering if the quality was any good?

It's not a show gun but a work gun. I bought one in .243 and it outshoots just about anything, honest 1/2 groups at100 yds.

I think they are made by Savage with the Stevens name on them, I have not saw many Savages that would'nt shoot a very decent group. IMO one of the best values in rifles today.

I have'nt saw one in a left hand model anywhere and I can't find any in my wholeale catalogs so I would say they probably don't offer it.

I've looked at that rifle a couple of times and it is tempting to pick one up for my son. The one thing that I noticed right off was the trigger gaurd, it seems small to me. Much of my hunting involves wearing gloves and I'm not sure I could get a gloved finger in there without firing the gun in the process. Any thoughts on that aspect of the gun?

No stevens 200 lefties are available. That is one way they keep the price down. No options. BTW this is basicly a savage 110 without the acutrigger. It is alot of gun for the money

I sold 5 this week and they are getting kind of hard to find from the wholesale distributors, I had to order from 3 different warehouses to get the 5 I needed., IMO one of the best values in the firearm world today.
