Default Sako's New Four In One Rimfire

Sako has a new rifle that has four barrels.
It can go from 22 long fifle to 17 HM2
To 22 magnum to 17 HMR and back to 22 long rifle.

Here is a video of it.

It looks like a good thing for rimfire people.

This is what it looks like.

It's a real neat gun alright, my Beretta rep told me and gave me info on them lastyear. BUT like I asked him, what realistic market is this serving for rimfires? I can't remember for sure, but seemed like they were over $1k for the set. Who in the world is gonna pay that kinda cheese for rimfire? Not saying they aren't o ut there, but they are VERY VERY few and far between. I doubt you'll see many on the typical gunshop shelf, that's more of a "pre-paid special order" setup, I know I wouldn't pay interest on that thing to have it sit on my shelf waiting for someone to purchase it. It took us long enough to find a buyer for a $700+ Kimber 22 we had lastyear (ever seen a "mini-mauser" action? Pretty sharp!).

If it didn't literally BORE a single hole at 100yds I would be furious for that kind of cash layout!

I think it is not necessary. The four calibers over lap so much why would you want all 4? A Ruger 77/22 LR can be converted to a 77/17HM2 anda 77/22mag can be converted into a 77/17HMR. I would not buy one.
