Default Forum Software Error Elimination

Every page on this forum produces errors in Internet Explorer (at least for me) "Line 160 -Character 9 -"Undefined" is null or not an object".

Firefox won't load the pages and gives a server timeout.

Opera produces: "You tried to access the address http://forum.hunting.net/asppg/tt.asp?forumid=26, which is currently unavailable." when trying to connect to the bp forum.

This could be costing you some members/visitors.

Thanks for the heads-up, Underclocked.

The errors you see should actually show as (normally suppressed) javascript warnings. We are able to view all pages just fine in both IE (6 - 7beta), and Firefox (through 1.5.0.1). Both show different javascript warnings, but render all pages normally.

I will test in a couple versions of Opera momentarily, but when you have a moment could you please let us know what sort of actual rendering problems you're seeing by browser and version?

Thanks!

All I was getting with 1.501 Firefox was server time outs. Discovered since posting that my Firefox bookmark for this site was bad. Fixed that and all is well at least most of the time - still getting more lag on connection than with IE latest version (not 7 beta).

The odd thing is that I was also getting nothing butserver time outs with Opera 8.51on the 14th and today it connects without hesitation (no changes made on my end).

Still getting the same error in IE.

I am on a 5Mb/sec cable connection, totally free of spyware and viruses. Clear cache on Firefox at each exit.
