Default Disabled Elk Hunt Possible?

Hi folks:

I admire all your courage and efforts. I wish I could help all but you know how that is.

I have a friend that is confined to a wheelchair. He bowhunts, rifle hunts etc from the chair. He is an avid hunter.

I have not approached him about an out of state trip because I have no clue if its possible.

I'm hoping you folks can tell me a thing or two. Has anyone done a wheelchair elk hunt? I suspect a cow hunt would be super IE its not about size but simply the chance to do something he has not done. I can pack him on my back a ways, but not just too far.

I don't even know the questions to ask so I'm asking for any input.

Ya'll keep it up and thanks for any input!

Jeff

Many outfitters you could use can help with a disabled hunter. I don't know what you have in mind by way of a budget, but here is one place I can think of. They have elk and antelope available. $1500 for antelope(buck) and $3K for bull elk.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I should have mentioned the obvious, that most folks in a handicapped position can't afford much if anything so it'll be a fundraising issue for me. But I'll see what I can do and check out the link. NM is a bunch closer to us than anything else.

Here is the outfitter I used for a pronghorn hunt in 2001. Drawing elk tags are hard,I think they only give out about 75 state wide. This outfitter is great and he'll give you 110%...
