Default To Land Owners & Hunt Clubs

Have you ever thought of haveing a special hunt for the disabled hunters in your ariea ?
Like haveing a deer drive and the disabled hunters as the standers with a club member with them.

That would be a great way to give back to your comunity
and help the disabled hunters at the same time.

So you ever thought of doing any thing like this ?

It wouldn't work here. Disabled hunters don't have special seasons. They get special permit drawings (HC only) then they can hunt in certain areas. If you get a non-HC hunter to help - guess what - yep, they have to file a permit.

I have a small farm In western South Dakota that might work well for this type of hunt. It would be from ground blinds. There are a lot of mule deer in that area. I don't know if there are any special permits or seasons in South Dakota for disabled hunters. I could furnish access for a few hunters if any are interested in that Area. If anyone is they can get on the web site for South Dakota Game Fish and Parks To check regulations and permit info. The regular season is usually the second and third week of November with Muzzle loader season in December. Feel free to send a PM or email to me if you would like to do a hunt there.
