Hello to all! This is my first time posting in this forum and I'm hoping I get a few responses. My name is Mike and I live just west of Milwaukee Wisconsin.
My grandfather, who instilled my passion for hunting and the outdoors always said, " The day I can't go hunting, put me in the ground." Unfortunately, before I ever had the chance to "legally" hunt with him, he developed a tumor on his brain and passed away when I was eleven. He died on November 17th 1991, and on November 21st, the opening of Wisconsin's rifle season, we laid him to rest.
My grandfather's obsession with hunting has definately taken hold in my heart. I am in the field as much as I possible can as often as I can. My limiting factor is that I don't have much acess to land. What I do have is the skills to fabricate just about anything.
I saw a few posts on the forum about different struggles that disabled hunters have been having with trying to get into the field, make gun rests for wheelchairs, and finding means to transport game. I have the resources to make wheelchair accessable treestands, any type of trailer, cart, hauler, willing to come to your place (wisconsin) and help cut trails, make your land accessable to your mode of transportation. I suppose it doesn't even have to be hunting related, if you have something around the house or yard you need done, small construction, remodel, landscaping jobs. If you just need a hunting buddy to go along with you and get you into the stand or help retrieve your game, let me know, I am open to any kind of suggestions.
If anyone still needs any ideas or needs someone to make them something to help get them setup, please, please email me
MikeBosmans01@msn.com or call 414-315-6638. Let me be specific, I can trully appreciate the desire to continue to hunt regardless of limitations. I don't want money, or anything of the sort. What I am really looking for is someplace to hunt, mostly bowhunt in the state of Wisconsin. But if you happen to reside in another state, still, contact me, let me know what you need, how to get in touch with you and I will do my best to help.
Thanks again everyone, and don't hesitate to contact me.
