Default Just Wondering

I was just wondering why there is so little posts in here?

I am also on disability.
I am not in a wheel chair but the health problems I have make me disabled.
I can walk and get around but I have heart trouble diabeties cronic back pain
that some times hurts so bad I lay down and pass out from the pain.
I was in the Baptist Hospital in Winston salem NC in 1999 for 48 days
with Acute Pancreatitis and thats where most of my bad health came from.
While in the hospital I was on a ventalater for almost 2 months
that caused me to have some brain damange witch causes me short term memery loss.
Also while there my heart went out my kidneys went out I swelled up 4 times my
size and had to have a trac for 40 days.
All my organs went like dominos.
And now I have no presription insurance so I have to pay for all my meds.
The biggest thing for me is the lack of money.
since the disability payments are 1/3 of what I got on my paychecks.
One thing that really bothers me is the way some people act when they hear that you are disabled.
When they hear that you are disabled that they look down on you like you are a lazzy bum.
They think you have to have a arm missing or a leg missing or something like that.
Or be in a wheel chair.
Then they don't want to have any thing to have with you.
Even the church people treat you like that.
Well thats enaugh of my gripeing I hope you do good hunting.

I just wondered why theres so little posts in here.
Thank You

Well, glad to see ya here. There are not too many post's here because there are not to many folks around this site who are disabled. When people talk to me, I simply say I'm not disabled, I'm better! A steel fist goes a long way in an argument! Just kidding. Just keep your chin up, and take things day by day.

Hey jrbsr I also am glad to see you here and I understand what you have been going through. I also am disabled with heart disease I have had 14 heart attacks, a quintuple bypass and after my last heart attack they did an angiogram and said there was nothing they could do and I should just go home and take it easy. I also suffer from chronic lower lumbar facet and nerve damage due to the back problems. They wont do the surgery because of my heart condition so my walking is very limited. I sat on my pitty potty for about a week and decided that if i am going to die it might as well be while I am doing something I love so I got up grabbed my rifle and went to the range. I have actually had people tell me that I really should leave the handicapped parking for those who are handicapped. I just tell them I wish you had my health problems then you would understand, that usually shuts them up. Have a good one and what ever you do dont give up!!! Jimmy

JR from talkin to you in the chatroom i feel ive gotten to know you fairly well, i am the same way i cant stand the million ???? on why im disabled and most times i dont even try and explain it, but as you know i have broken my back 3 times as well as the high b/p and bad heart as well as all the problems with my back, but i refuse to be put out to pasture yes i am limited as to what i can and cant do but i at least make the effort, as well i know most here that are disabled do and for that i commend everyone of the disabled that refuse to lead a life of dispare and shelter themselves from the world,, jr all i can tell you is never let the fools of the world get you down and always keep your head held high nuff said larry
