On April 5th, the Washington Fish and Wildlife Commission approved regulations that, for the first time, would allow disabled hunters to use a crossbow during the Washington archery season.
This move is primarily in reaction to a series of Federal discrimination complaints filed by members of the Alliance for Disabled Sportsmen Rights:

The new system will be run by the state's ADA coordinator. The details of the new system are not out yet, but the Alliance will be keeping a close eye to ensure the new system is fair and reasonable. If we disapprove of the new system, we will re-file discrimination complaints.
This now leaves only 9 states that do not allow disabled archers to use crossbows. I hope to come back next week with more good news of crossbow victories in other states.
