Default Hunters Helping Hunters needs your help

Hey yall,

I was wondering if you could post or email me any and all contacts or anything relating to disabled hunters and hunting access. Let me explain why.

Some of you may or may not know that I' m a volunteer at Hunters Helping Hunters. Our mission statment is basicly to help hunters and their families in times of emergancy medical or funeral needs. I recieve all the rquest that HHH gets because I' m the Director of Applications & Funding. Sometimes I get request that fall outside our mission statment and we cant help them finacialy.

I have gotten two request in the last couple of weeks for help finding equipment or access for newly handicapped hunters.

I really dont know where to go for these request. So I' m building a network to turn to when we cant help. Please email me or reply to this post on anything you feel I maybe able to use and or pass on to our fellow hunters.

Thanks for any help.

Dear Mike,

Ohio' s ODNR web site has information on handicapped information. The link to ODNR is...

http://www.ohiodnr.com/wildlife/default.htm

I hope this helps all of our disabled friends in some way.

Bob

If you have any Pennsylvania hunters that would like to turkey hunt I may be able to help. I have a lease here in PA for turkey hunting and I may just be able to give a turkey hunt. Let me know if any one is interested so that we can see what I can work out. Pat

p.s. no charges will be applied. Just want to be able to provide some one with a hunt that may not have the oppurtunity. I want everyone to be able to enjoy the outdoors and Turkey hunting as much as I do.
