Default Handicapped Hunting Areas in Western MD

I was wondering if anyone has hunted the HC areas in Indian Springs WMA, Green Ridge SF or Rocky Gap SP? Was it crowded? What is the success rate over there? Thanks in advance for any replies..

Default RE: Handicapped Hunting Areas in Western MD

I rode over to Western MD to look at the HC hunting areas on public land on Saturday. Essentially they are just 4WD trails that only allow access to HC hunters. Able-bodied hunters must walk in but they are allowed to hunt the same areas. I couldn't get any info on success rates because there is no check in or check out requirement so the state does not collect information specific to the HC areas. Since they are first come first served it seems they could get crowded just like the rest of public land in MD. I hope this information is helpful to someone.
