I have had it since last summer and I was going back and forth about remounting it, I tried to clean it up and it didn't look much better so I decided to have it redone. I went to the taxidermist and had them take it apart while I was there to see what it was made of and too make sure the skull plate was not cut or broke. We found the mount to be made out of cardboard. I was thinking it would have been newspaper or wood and cement ..

Nice find! I rescued a nice 5X5 muley from a flea market as well. He was laying under a table, gathering dust.He was much too nice to deserve such an ignonimous fate... Scores about 180, and I paid $100 for it. I'll post a pic later...

Cool find. Right place, right time. I'd love to get one of those.
