Who is still Hunting for the Contest?

I am.........hunted tonight, didn't se a thing! Probably hunt Thursday and friday The last day of the MN season. I might still run to North Dakota for one last fling!

I got 2 weekends left. Hope the weather changes to cold cold cold to get the deer moving to the feeding areas a little earlier than dark!!

At this point I'm hunting for meat to get a second deer in the freezer. I always seem to run out by summer.

I'll still have the contest on my mind but will not pass on much at this point.

I'll be out a couple more times before the end of the season. I'll be hunting for another buck or doe for the freezer. 60 degree low tonight. I might be hunting in shorts!!!!!! Last week I couldn't got hunting because of the 22" of snow.

I also can hunt until the 15th. I'll be going out when I am able - not too cold, raining or other plans. I've heard that no one in our area has even scored a buck!!!! They must be hiding in a really good place....

My season's over ! last night was my last night for this season ,I guess I'll have to do some coyote hunting for the remainder of the season.I truely figured this was the season for the big boy but I only seen him a couple of time's, since this season I hunted other properties more this season, than I have in the past season's. Although I've been told that the bigboy is still there. So maybe next season. The land owner's son was hunting this property as well this season, so I had decided that I would leave him to hunt this property himself, without any added pressure .He assured me that it was o.k. for me to be there and hunt with or without him if I wanted. Although this gave me the opportunity to hunt other properties that I had not taken time to hunt in the past .I did hunt there on a couple of occasion's without success. Anyway's till next season ,I'd like to wish everyone who have participated this season's deer contest as well as my teammates [Team 11 the Shaft's] I'd like to wish you's all a Happy New Year from myself and my family .And you's who still have time for deer hunting good luck and keep up the good work.
I'd also like to thank contest organizer's and moderator's for a job well done and I'll be looking forward to next seasons contest.
