Default Another Saturday passes and no blood??

Only one hunter has drawn blood in the contest? Man, and I thought all you guys were record number buck killing machines..........

Hunting is in but then again it aint. Yes, I can hunt but I don't care for the deer or the warm weather. It was cool the other night so it is getting close.

Patience! Many seasons don't come in until October 1st. Besides, most of the bigger bucks will be taken near or in the rut. In my case, I won't even take a shot at anything less than a minimum Pope & Young class buck this season.

I took my MANDATORY doe on Saturday. NJ is "Earn a Buck".. A doe must be harvested first before a buck can be taken. Stalked within 15yds of her. Only shot I had was the neck. Dropped her in her tracks... I'm ready for antler.......

patience ladies..the first weekend in wisconsin was in the 80's. Through 2 days I layed my eyes upon 6 different bucks! Either to far away, or the ones that were close were too small. Bring on the COLD!
