Default Whitetails only? Mulies? Elk?

It seems noone specified what species we are hunting. For instance, one of our team member lives in AZ and only hunts mulies.......

good point. I would think that is a person hunts whitetails at all, then that's what counts.
As for guys who don't hunt whitetails at all, I think a fair scoring system would be to take the ratio of the P&Y scoring minimum for that species, compared to whitetails and then reduce the score by that %.

Example
P&Y min 125 whitetails
Mulie min is ???150 as a guess,I know that's probably not it.
Guys shoots a mulie scoring 135. His official score would be 112.5
135x 0.833 Where the 0.833 comes from 125/150.
Sound fair?

Ok, Elk was a joke, but mulies need to be addressed

I have no problem with multiplying my score by .833. I just don't have white tails here in AZ to hunt. There are Cous whitetail (a much smaller version of whitetail deer, about the size of my labrador).

I just checked, the mulie score is 145( I was close with my guess) so it leads to multiplying by 0.86 when scoring.
