i just got off the phone with horton, i was told most but not all parts are now made in china and the bows are assembled here. i just bought a horton tacoma and they changed the complete looks of the bows, they no longer have the tear drops. the bow does look nice but i sure wished they has USA parts, oh well i guess as long as they shoot good and the lady did say they do check the quality control. also it let horton to continue with the tacoma line which she said was selling better now as more and more people are getting into crossbows and don't want to spend alot at first.
