Default Excalibur phoenix

Hey guys,
I just purchased an Excalibur Phoenix. Anyone know what grain field points come in the lite stuff pkg? I'm guessing 150 grain by the looks of them but can anyone confirm this? Thanks.

If you got 'Boltcutter' bheads, you probably got 150 gr field points.
Congrats on the Phoenix!

Yes, definately the 150 gr. I recently purchase a phoenix lite-stuff package and called them. They said they come with the 150 gr field points. I haven't shot mine yet, but want to see how a 100 gr head shoots on them.

Thanks for the replies guys! I figured out after looking at some 100 and 125 grn field tips last night that these must be 150's. I'm going to see how it shoots with 125's tonight on the factory firebolt arrows, planning on going with 2 blade rage broadheads (125 grn). Let me know if guys have found a good arrow/broadhead combo for the phoenix as this is my first crossbow and first hunting season with it.

If'en yer going to use rage BH's & firebolts spect they ought to work fine. Looking fer other combo's gets costly quickly. I have used several good working combo's with a phoenix that i sold. 2216-2219 & GT II using steelhead-montec G5- spitfire-slick mag & so on.

I shoot 100gr broadheads on 2215 aluminum arrows and have found several that are accurate. About any mechanical will shoot well, and any short profile fixed blade has done well.
I'm currently using Wac'Em Exits (4 blade), but G-5 Montecs and Magnus Snuffers are also good.

Took and tried a Trophy Ridge Hammerhead (one shot from my treestand at an old foam target to unload my Phoenix) last night and it hit right where it should have at that distance. Never shot one of them before, but I had a pack of 3 I picked up cheap and wanted to see how they fly. I may test them further now.

20" GT Blazer IIs w/brass inserts and 100 gr 1" Slick Trick broadheads....they don't run far! I'm shooting Excal Exocet 200.

I get mine from Wyvern Creations......http://www.wyverncreations.com

Congrats on the Excal! You won't regret it.

I love the 100 gr slick tricks on my compound, but I really think with a fixed blade I need 125-150 gr up front with the firebolts to get the foc up. I'll look into some arrows with the brass insert like JMAN mentioned. What's the weight on those GT's JMAN with the inserts?
