With the recent rule change to allow crossbow use by all hunters, a defeat for the NCBA, opening day of archery was exciting. Had the Horton dialed in, thermacell was cranked, Grim Reapers ready to deploy. Just needed to see something. Had a doe with fawn come in, but not what I was looking for this opening day. Still, just being able to utilize a crossbow made the day memorable.
