Default Advise on Purchase

Considering buying a "back-up" X-bow just in case the one I have "dies" on a hunt, and to use as a lender. Cannot go for another top end. Looking for experience with X-Bows in the $350 - $450 range. Hunting white tailed deer and will not be taking shots past 40 yards or so. Any make, any model OK. Thanks.

Check out the Excal Axiom package. Very reliable, you do your own maintenace/string adj or changes. Can be un c0cked w/ rope c0cker.

Almost the same as a Phoenix model, just less bling.

Check Danny Miller customer service [740] 483 2312.

I've heard many good things about the PSE Copperhead. Also the Horton Summit HD 150.

What didn't you like?

I tried one & it was very quiet, light, compact and a good trigger.

I had three bolts touching at 20 yards the first 3 shots. 150 lbs is about the most I can ****.

I actually like it better than the 10 Point I had, except for the speed.

Thanks
